This is the biggest weapon we have against Iran, Al Queda and the Axis of Evil. Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan are all part of this Iron Curtain of Islam. We can’t know the outcome, but spreading freedom and the gospel to the middle east requires this to happen.

Nobody seems to care. Even Evangelicals on the site. I get the feeling most Freepers are becoming like Pat Buchanon. 1990 is lost in the memories of everyone here.

You’re right. Anything to do with foreign policy or the shifting global economy gets minimal, if any, response on FR anymore. However, post something about illegals (which used to be frowned upon) or the homosexual agenda and the thread goes on and on.

My thought on Syria is that there is a deafening silence from the Ubama regime. The attempt to divert attention to Libya is sputtering. And when it comes to a true people’s revolt against the Iran-by-proxy rulership of Syria, U.S. will take a spectator’s hands-off approach.
