Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) on Friday strongly suggested that members of Congress are making it difficult for President Obama to raise the debt ceiling because of his race.
"I do not understand what I think is the maligning and maliciousness [toward] this president,” said Jackson Lee, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. “Why is he different? And in my community, that is the question that we raise. In the minority community that is question that is being raised. Why is this president being treated so disrespectfully? Why has the debt limit been raised 60 times? Why did the leader of the Senate continually talk about his job is to bring the president down to make sure he is unelected?”
Earlier in her speech, Jackson Lee said Obama has been targeted unlike any other president.
"I am particularly sensitive to the fact that only this president — only this one, only this one — has received the kind of attacks and disagreement and inability to work, only this one," said Jackson Lee from the House floor.
"Read between the lines," she continued. "What is different about this president that should put him in a position that he should not receive the same kind of respectful treatment of when it is necessary to raise the debt limit in order to pay our bills, something required by both statute and the 14th amendment?"
Jackson Lee concluded by saying that she hoped someone would step up and say that what appears obvious to her is not in fact true.
"I hope someone will say that what it appears to be is not in fact accurate," said Lee. "But historically it seems to be nothing more."

America hired Obama because he was black. They will fire him not because he’s black, but because he’s incompetant.

What she says is what I hear on an almost daily basis. I live in Alabama, a racially diverse state. Most of the blacks I know do have the opinion that if you are white and against anything Obama you are really doing it because you are a racist.
You cannot argue the logic in it, as they’re not using logic to come up with that “feeling”. It is actually racism on their part to make that leap of faith and disparage any real reasons you (a white person) have for not liking Obama or what he stands for/is doing/represents.
THEREFORE I have stopped caring about what someone like this “thinks”, and am simply doubling down my efforts to end his presidency.

Unfortunately, for Blacks in America, skin color is the primary litmus test for electability. Obama, though he is something on the order of 6% “African Negro,” and 50% “White,” looks “Black” and that’s the test for AB’s support. They would elect a rock so long as it looks “black.” On the other hand, men like Herman Cain and Col. West are not seen as black because they don’t “act black enough.” The so-called Black Leaders and the RAT party have conspired since slavery ended to keep Blacks where they are today, all the while pronouncing that they are “helping” them. Indeed, Blacks are not unlike the Palestinians. In that case, the “Arab Community” uses the Palestinians ( in reality they view them as Arab trash) to keep the fires of hatred for Israel stoked. Sheila Jackson Lee makes a black rock look like a mensa.
We have to realize that for Jackson Fleas, anything past 2 + 2 is too complicated for her mental capacity. She is on par with the poor dolt from Georgia who thought Guam would tip over if too many went to one side of the island.
Luke Visconti of DivertyInc calls black conservatives the same as the kapos in the concentration camps. As usual, he’s got it backwards. The likes of Sheila Jackson Lee (carpetbagger from NYC) are the same as the overseers on the plantation.
Difference? Three of those things are potentially useful to society, and it’s not the one with its yap open.

Ms. Jackson-Lee has never been able to get beyond the surface color of any conversation. Mr. Obama is far closer to a white, Columbia/Harvard trained, communist, agitator than he will ever be to “her people”.
Why? It's prejudice to judge all Black people on the basis of racist dumbasses like SJL. The racists will -- very quickly -- self-identify; you can tell them from pretty much the first sentence they utter. Sheila might as well have an SS tattoo or a swastika on her neck. I think ultimately this improves race relations between people who're genuinely of good will, because it's becoming clearer and clearer to a lot of formerly squishy types that "racism" is all too frequently a bogus charge. Can't happen soon enough.
