Don’t you love how they prevert the general welfare clause to mean what they named as Welfare.

There’s no “Fix” in. Earlier generations told the government (through their votes) that, while they wanted Social Security, they didn’t want fully fund its trust fund, and they wanted what was funded to be spent, AND NOW!!!

Well, time’s up for that scam, and now people won’t get back the money that’s already been spent.

"...$1 trillion dollars in handouts, mostly to corporate giants and America's wealthy with working households almost entirely left out."

We only wish that they would leave us out and leave us alone with their anti-competition regulations and social policies.

"They still are, enduring a protracted Main Street depression,..."

That's a good thing. Flooring costs are too high on "Main Street." Abolish county zoning ordinances against small manufacturing operations on remote properties.

As for the wealthy educrat, plutocrat and general kleptocrat constituents, let 'em bring a default on themselves. That means future leadership that will clean up the trash and let us work.

I’d like to point out that President GWB during the 2 years he had GOP control of both houses of COngress, refused to even once use his veto pen, let alone listen to any of the non-evil uncorrupted Republicans who tried desparately to alter the course for SS and Medicare/Medicaid. GWB did however enthusiatically campaign for MEdicare RX benefits Bill, the f’ing whore bastard.

SO now all those who voted for Bush Clinton Bush Obama will be eating dog food while my generation is saddled with a social contract so odious expatriation is a top option for the better and brighter and best and brightest.

The criminal class in Washington is bipartisan, united against working household interests.

That much is true.

Moreover, Social Security and Medicare are insurance programs - contractual federal obligations to eligible recipients who qualify. In fact, they're no different from other legal arrangements between willing parties.

Willing parties? What are you smoking? Social security is the greatest fraud ever FORCED on "free" people. It is built on the backs of dead Americans.

It's the socialism, stupid. DEFUND socialist collectives, foreign and domestic.

After socialist collectives are DEFUNDED, legislatures will have very little to meddle in.

Legislatures (state and federal) can be part-time jobs with 1/10th pay, NO retirement, NO perks, NO insurance. Get a job you POS politicians.

This is one of the silliest articles I've seen posted by you. You're normally quite staid.

"Over $13trillion in bailouts"?

Not exactly. Try over $13trillion in overnight loans paid by the next working day.

Not that the Fed hasn't been printing money and pissing it away...just on a much smaller scale than the rabidly leftist writer claims.

no different from other legal arrangements between willing parties.

SS is compulsory...not "willing" parties.
