Remarkably enough, the Boston Globe is now running the story.
The Navy Times has run a story saying that Wade Sanders, a Swift boat crewmate who introduced US Senator John Kerry at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, has been stripped of his Silver Star.
Sanders was never a crewmate of Kerry, nor did they go on any missions together.
I’ll still argue that they’re not in Kerry’s class. But who cares—this is a victory worth celebrating. There’s still time. What a lovely, pre-Aug. 2 surprise!
