The NHS has begun rationing common surgical procedures such as hip replacements and cataracts removal in an effort to save money, it was revealed yesterday.

New figures have found one in three Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) in England are reducing access to treatment for “non-urgent” operations.

Examples of rationing include knee operations only being allowed to go ahead where patients are in severe pain, overweight patients being made to lose weight prior to procedures, and cataract patients being denied treatment until their sight problems seriously affect their ability to work.

Chris Naylor, a senior researcher at the health think tank the King’s Fund, said yesterday: “There are always rationing decisions that have to go on in any health service.

Liberals say that with higher taxes and smaller military spending, we have all the money we need for entitlements.

Please note that the UK has sky-high taxation rates a military that consumes less than 2 percent of national GDP and is getting even smaller. And they’re still rationing surgery.

No doubt it takes 20 highly paid “paper shufflers” to make the decisions.

Makes you wonder why Boner and others don’t point this out. Great obvious facts for our arguments.

Liberal logic.

The cost of surgery, including hospital stay, doctors, nurses and medicine is $100 at cost.

We want to pay government bureaucrats $50 to use $50 of tax dollars to offer $25 for a $100 government payment. Instant deficit spending.

How does adding thousands of government bureaucrats add anything to healthcare delivery?

How does 400-lb. Irma Johnson, government/social worker/HHS moron extrodinaire (AA hire, too) make my gout/migrane/hernia/cancer/ass boil get better?

Doctor - patient, where does Ms. Irma Johnson add value, where does she benefit the way my care is provided. She doesn’t, it’s about control of life and death by the Stalinists, called Liberal Democrats.

How the f*ck does adding layers of paperwork, regulations, compliance and reporting MAKE ANYONE LESS SICK or GET THEM TREATED? How does this speed up care? How does this get me a quicker appointment or surgery?

Look at the DMV, Post Office, Tax Office, Zoning Office or County Clerk or any useless Government agency of lifers? And why does NANCY PELOSI get a waiver for her union buddies and political partners, all while having a PRIVATE PLAN for POLITICIANS and BUREAUCRATS which is separate from the mandated Obamacare policies?

Everytime I see a bumper sticker, “Healthcare for All” I wonder if the Libtard inside has ever heard of Medicare or Medicaid?
