I grew up and lived in NYC all my life, and let me tell you: Giuliani is the ONLY politician I’ve ever seen in my life who A. Does exactly what he says he’s going to do and B. Does not care who he ticks off or how it hurts his image or career to get it done.
I’m an old fart who has followed this guy from the early days from when he first got his law degree to when he went after the mob to when he became Mayor and the absolute BS he withstood is astounding.
One image that stands out in my mind is Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins going to a Rudy Giuliani protest in a limo (yes, liberals actually had Rudy Giuliani protests) to protest Rudy taking bums off the street and throwing them in jail.
And what was the result? A year later homeless men where PRAISING Giuliani for breaking their cycle of addiction and destruction. Like most conservatives, Rudy understood that liberal methods to cure addiction DO NOT WORK. JAIL DOES. Ask David Crosby of Crosby, Stills and Nash who is one liberal who admits were it not for jail he would be dead. Got a crack problem? Let’s have you live crack free for a year. Let’s not throw you in an overnight tank and back out on the street. THIS is what they were protesting about. Sarandon and Robbins wanted those crack addicts back on the street while they hid behind their doorman protected multi-million dollars buildings, meanwhile the disarmed middle class and poor have to withstand shootings, muggings and all around chaos.
Anyone that ticks off Al Sharpton and Susan Sarandon should be POTUS as far as I’m concerned. Yes he is divorced, but his ex-wife is a liberal head case and I don’t blame him in the least for divorcing her. She got all mad because he was upsetting her liberal elitist friends so she did all this stuff to embarrass him, even bad mouthing him in the press but NOT ONCE did he ever do the same and bad mouth her back. And let’s not forget: He was almost killed on 911. He insisted on going straight to ground zero and had building debris collapse on top of him, enough so he was trapped! What were Sarandon and Sharpton doing?
Now his chances for being POTUS are all but nill because these same liberal pukes railroaded his #2 guy Benard Kerik, one of the most decorated cops in the NYPD history. Why? Oh because he screwed up his taxes and had construction done by workers connected to the mob.
Hey maybe I should check and see if my landscaper has connections to the mob, or check out the background of my car mechanic. Give me a break.
And meanwhile habitual tax cheat, real estate thief, and tax money “importer” Charles Rangel is not only NOT jailed, he is re-elected!! Once again and is found out once again that people associated with him ripped off taxpayer money slotted for the poor to the tune of $200,000 bucks to go party in the Carribean (which was in the NY Post today) Hey who cares if some crippled 90 year old woman in Harlem is evicted and living out of garbage bags, Charlie and his buddies have to par-tay!
The double standard these liberal %$%#s are granted makes me sick to my guts.
Giuliani is human and doesn’t hide it, but when it comes to his job he takes care of business and he is a patriotic American to the bone. I just like the no-nonsense way of New Yorkers. I have heard from other New Yorkers who recall how he cleaned up the city when he was Mayor. That’s the kind of style we look for and need: getting things done, a leader!!
I knew, when Kerik got busted, that Rudy was toast. Of course, none of it came out until he recommended Kerik to be Bush43’s DHS director.....
You should read the story of Kerik, how this guy risked his life time and time again to get crack dealers off the street and how the libs totally destroyed his life all so they could destroy Rudy. 4 years in jail this guy is doing, meanwhile pukes like Jamie Gorelick who in my mind is just as responsible for 911 as the terrorists, who should be doing LIFE without parole, is walking around living the good life. Oh yes and not to mention that she fudged records, gave herself a $20 million dollar bonus and caused one of the worst financial crisis in US history. She is walking around free, but a guy who risked his life time and time again is doing time because he fudged a line in his tax return and hired “mob connected” construction workers who to this day have not been identified. Show me these “Mob connected construction workers”. Last time I checked, the only thing the mob does is shake people down, not do actual work. Oh yes, and his maid was an illegal. Yes all this is a million times more horrific than killing 3000 people and destroying the housing market.
Maybe zero will just get a real bad flu, in general. Always praying for divine intervention.
