So they roll out the Chicago communist Axelrod and start using Alinsky rules 5 and 12. Yawn, we're on to you and Obama. Hey David, see you at the victory parties on November 6, 2012!

I support the Tea Party, and I’m proud of the fact. These Democrat nuts are trying to stir up mass hysteria. The Tea Party was the one group in the U.S. proclaiming that we had to decrease spending.

Move along, nothing to see here.....just your standard liberal meme transferring their failures to those they most fear. >PS

When they started the blame game Friday night after the downgrade, I was initially concerned that the meme of it being the Tea Party’s fault would gain traction.

But the more I think about it, the more I am glad they are going this route. Who wants to be the party to tell the American voter that the problem with the conservative side is that they won’t raise taxes? That dog doesn’t really hunt with independent voters who don’t want higher taxes either.

I don’t want to be the political party that is claiming all our problems are because the other side won’t raise taxes. This meme only gets traction with the true lefty believers who depend on our cash.

“I never thought I could loathe this administration and the Democrat party more, but they’ve managed to top themselves again.”

Both are lower than pond scum on the evolutionary scale.

Any Republican that does not defend the Tea Party on this one should be voted out of office. They need to push back hard on this one. Keep the pressure on the White House. This lowering of the credit by S & P is a gift to oust Obama.

Where is the RNC with ads rebutibg all these lies? Where are the Republican leaders? Speak up McCain!

When all is done, the blame will be squarely placed on the Tea Party. Save for Bachman, no one else is speaking out.

Do the Rats really think that getting the Tea Party motivated to levels even above those of 2010 is the best strategy? I’m feeling more motivated than I have in weeks. I’ll admit, the debt ceiling compromise kinda took the wind out of my sails, but no more! On to 2012, I’m going to work my butt off to make sure this lying liberals go down to such a massive defeat it will make 2010 look like just a minor landslide! Have fun partying up Obama because you days are number. You evil, lying, son of a commie whore bastard!

Yeah. Funny how compromise entails Republicans agreeing to raise taxes and/or the debt ceiling, and not so much Democrats (up to and including Ax and his boss) agreeing that maybe the last couple of budgets were...excessively lavish. Funny how that works. Ha.

The people in power blaming the powerless for the screw ups of the powerful.

Sometimes I feel like I am living in the Soviet Union under Khrushchev.

The only difference between fiction and reality is that fiction has to be believable. This $#!+ is just totally unbelievable.

Tea Party does not = Republican

Republican does not = Tea Party.

The media propaganda even works on on Freepers. Most FReepers now use these interchangebly.

As Democrats tonight, and some Republicans, lash out and blame the Tea Party for causing the United States to lose its credit rating, it is worth pointing out that only the Tea Party offered up a plan to avoid what happened.-

This is true but nobody is really touching entitlements and we all know that is where the problem lies. As long as the GOP is afraid (conventional wisdom says they are right) to touch entitlements we will continue to spiral downward. I don’t see many reasons for optimism that the GOP will tackle entitlements. The Tea Party will increase voter turn-out so the opportunity has never been better for the GOP. If they don’t get it done in 2012 it probably won’t happen. We are running out of time.

The Tea Party never spent a penny of taxpayers money. Not one penny! In fact, they tried to stop the spending.

God bless them.

The GOP will sit meekly sucking on their thumbs until in a day or two, Sarah Palin will send a 10-word tweet which FLATTENS the entire democrat party.

Something like "How can you blame the Tea Party whose caucus is 13% of the House and 4% of the Senate?" ?

A top White House adviser is blaming the downgrade of the U.S. credit rating on tea party Republicans, whom he says were unwilling to compromise on how to reduce the federal debt.

What the left means by "compromise":

You're walking down the street. Suddenly you are accosted by a gun-wielding thug who demands you hand him your wallet.

You hand him the wallet, which has $200 in cash in it, and beg him not to take the money because it's all you have to live on for the next three weeks."

The thug decides to be a "nice guy," and says: "Look, I understand you have to eat too. So I'm gonna help you out, I'm only going to take $100, and you can keep the other $100."

You say: "But I need the whole $200."

The thug says: "I want your $200, and you don't want to give me anything. Here I am, willing to compromise with you and split the difference. I'm being fair, but you are just being unreasonable and locked into an extreme position!"

With that, the thug says: "Because you are being absolutely stubborn about this, I'm going to punch you in the face 100 times."

You say to thug: "Don't punch me, take the wallet."

The thug says: "Well, just to show you I'm still willing to be reasonable and compromise with you, I'll take the whole $200, but I'm only going to punch you in the face 50 times. That way, neither of us gets everything we want. And if we're both unhappy, that means it's a fair deal. You should take it, or else I'm going to shoot you."
