In the big leagues, no representative of either party is appointed to sit on such a weighty panel without his/her ultimate votes being known ahead of time. The outcome of each debated issue is known NOW. The final votes of each appointee are known NOW.

The upcoming meetings and debates of this unconstitutional panel will just be so much contrived docu-drama for the benefit of the lumpen proletariet.

IMHO, let it go, just pile on more debt and higher taxes. The economy is already in the toilet, that will just flush it.

Things have to really collapse before people get good and mad at the immoral mess that America and Western civilization is in.

Then we'll have a "fixer" like Michele Bachmann. When things are REALLY bad, when the fixer comes, you don't ask questions, you don't have demands, you don't even ask the price. You just do what the fixer tells you.
