I just listened to the second clip there, it appears the myth propagated by most Perry supporters at FR that he is at odds with the Bush family is patently false. Perry says he has a close personal relationship with the entire family in this interview.

The tensions between Bush and Perry are well documented, but I think Perry has tried to bury the hatchet. He doesn't want the Bush clan actively opposing him, though I doubt if any will endorse him in the primaries. There is no contradiction.

The contradiction is in how it’s been presented by the Perry supporters in defending him from those who see him as GWBII. There may have been disagreement, but clearly from this interview they are close personally, and I’d say that’s not particularly comforting to me that he is close with Rove & Co..

Barbara want Jeb to run so they will hold out until they see he just will NOT do it.

Hannity had Jeb on lately and asked if he was interested. He said no but I thought he would like to have someone beg him. Too bad the only someone is his mother......

I think Perry has a better chance of winning than Romney. I would love to see Perry and Bachman on the ticket with Palin running for the Kyl’s seat in AZ.
