State says bill will hike Calif. workers comp costs

California employers would pay as much as $210 million more for workers’ compensation benefits for temporary disabilities if the legislature passes a bill by Orange County Assemblyman Jose Solorio, D-Santa Ana. That’s according to an analysis is from the state Senate Appropriations Committee.

The Senate analysis seems to assume every workers comp case would use 240 weeks, which isn’t the case, said committee consultant Mark Rakich.

Build it and they will come.

and more companies will fail.

most of the uhaul inventories are in texas, arizona, colorado, washington, nevada etc.

they almost pay people to drive them back to california.

I know it is wrong of me to chuckle a bit at the California politicians shoveling their way to bankruptcy.

Most likely, the majority of votes in next election will go to Obama, and Gov Moonbeam will probably be reelected.

Talk about gluttons for punishment!

Whenever I drive to Nv from mexifornia, there’s a sign on the freeway about NV being better than CA, especially with the line “NO WORKERS COMP’.
