The breadth of her demonstrated governing is thin.
Your puerile posts against Sarah are unworthy of you.
Thin? In which 20 years of service completely changed the political, financial and ethical landscape of the largest state in the union?
You mean thick as the brickbat that Sarah will use to smack Perry upside the head with the tawdry statism of his policies.
Makes me wonder where your head is at.
Right where it has always been -- working to hold back the socialist horde. If you view that as childish, perhaps I'm not the one to convince you.
ping to self...
“...I tend to feel she has to be in on them...”
I agree, here. I think that Labor Day is the offocial kickoff, and she SHOULD be in the September debates. Then again, she marches to the beat of a totally different drum.
Oops!!
“Official”
Focus! Calling Sarah supporters names is childish, not oposing socialism.
Dear Louis,
You called my posts puerile (childish) - thus my reply.
Or did you forget?
I called your insults peurile. Or did you not understand?
Another thing. When I was at the Ames straw poll I encountered several Bachmann/Cain fans who would switch to Palin if she declares.
Thanks for telling us that information!
Who is this guy - the mysterious fellow who was going to lay the groundwork for Sarah Palin in Iowas straw poll?
Why not “friend” him on FB and ask???? There was no attempt to get in the straw poll for a variety of reasons...it’s just waste of money. Ron Paul has been winning straw polls for years, what has that got him? Bachmann appears to be losing some mojo...what did 2nd place get her? Considering Sarah’s enthused base (and Iowa organization...99 counties), if She wanted the straw poll, it was hers for the taking.
But that would of made her the target (front runner) for everyone else giving Perry a pass. Now, Perry is getting vetted (one way or the other). Sarah’s competitors are just burning money and getting either ignored by the press or vetted by the conservative based (alternative media)
Why didnt she get in? With a good showing, she could have built momentum now she has to come from behind.
3.2 million FB fans, getting mobbed wherever she goes, a growing O4P network and a press corps follwing her bus like a dog. Ehhhh.,..behind?....she’s got the mojo and her speech in Indianola will be a “show of force” to scurry off the pretenders.
Straw poll....we don’t need no stikin straw poll!!! When I was in Ames, I met Cain and Bachmann supporters who would switch to Palin if she were to declare.
To this date, only the coolaid drikers say she isn’t running. Now, the new “meme” is that Palin’s is just a fringer with a small, fanatical base. Sure boyos, surrrrrre. Just keep thinking that.
This is a strategy? If someone could explain that, Im willing to listen.
I think she’s been planning this for quite some time. It’s just a matter of picking the right time to get in. Let the others burn cash, get vetted and survey the battlefield.
But dont throw in the mainstream media, because that reason for secrecy has past.
Oh contrair....secrecy is key to everything. Read Sun Tzu. “War is based on deception”. Keep you enemy guessing then strike like a thunderbolt.
Entry now would be seen as splitting the conservative vote.......enter Romney.
Ohhh Please. Perry is not a conservative. He is more of a opportunistic estalbishment character. He talks a good game, but scratch the surface and it ain’t all conservative (or pretty). Bachmann? Tea Party lite. Why drink Diet Pepsi and when can have the real thing?
Perry thinks it’s 2010 with himself (”conservative choice”) vesus the Tea Party candidate (Debra Medina) and the “Establishment” (Kay Baily Hutchinson). In that year, the Tea Party candidate imploded making it Perry vs Huchinson (conservative vs establishment). Add an endorsement by Palin and WALLA...VICTORY.
IMO, Perry got suckered into this race by Palin. Palin acted coy and gave out false signals/praise to Perry. Perry now thinks its himself versus the establishment (Romney) and the Tea Party (Bachmann). Bachmann will implode making it Perry vs Romney. Add a Palin endorsement and WALLA...victory.
Not so fast chucky!!! Palin stays in the race and sucks the air our of Bachmanm/Cain. Now it’s Palin vs the “two dudes” who will no doubt get very messy with each other. Palin becomes the conservative alternative. Using her support network and savvy, she wins.
But why this strategy? Because Sarah knew that a Palin-Bachmann-Romney scenario was a potential loser. Palin had to fight off Romney’s establishment forces AND Bachmann forces (stalking horse) at the same time. She needed another player to bump off Bachmann and change the dynamic.
