Oval Office Appeaser
The Daily Beast ^ | 8/22/11 | William Broyles

When Barack Obama was inaugurated, a Republican president had taken the peace, prosperity, and budget surpluses of the Clinton years and given us two wars, a devastated economy, and an almost trillion-dollar deficit. Obama was going to be our Franklin Roosevelt, our Winston Churchill—a visionary leader who would give America hope again. Instead, he has turned out to be the Neville Chamberlain of American politics, drifting toward national catastrophe, one compromise at a time.

In the 1930s, desperate to keep the peace, Chamberlain caved in to every German demand. And he got war anyway. Let me be clear: the right-wing radicals in control of the Republican Party of course are not Nazis. But Obama is like Chamberlain. A decent man who values peace and civility at any cost, he’s no match for his Republican adversaries.

On Hugh Hewitt’s radio show about 6 weeks ago, I heard Mitch McConnell call the Administration a “gangster government”. He almost whispered it. I think there may be some fear among ‘leaders’ like him. Thank God for the TEA Party.

The Republicans in the House can’t start impeachment, because they don’t have control of the Senate, yet.

Do you think we can win control of the Senate? :)

IMHO, winning the Senate is “down-ticket”, meaning, we’d vote Obama out first. So, both the Senate and the WH would swing Republican at the same time.

At least, that’s my prayer.

Now... I haven’t even mentioned who the Republican nominee is.

Let’s hold the primary first.

FRiend, I sincerely appreciate your post, however please do not confuse me with being a leader. Americans, all Americans must lead. Americans are intelligent. Americans are industrious. Americans have done the impossible. Americans are being called upon to do the impossible once more. I am a lowly messenger, if I am even so much as that. I could not lead any of us or America where America needs to go. There are people who can though. America is full of leaders. It is time to elect them.

I too become frustrated FRiend. I find fault with most all done by our leaders if I disagree, but hear the cries, the war whoops if one wishes to call mere words these things, Americans, all Americans, can do and will do what needs to be done. What needs to be done? Be intelligent, be industrious, do the impossible, Be Americans, Accept no less of yourself and your fellow Americans and America will again Walk Proud, and Do the Impossible. I have faith, so buck up FRiends, GAME ON.

Agreed, my prayer and your prayer. Two in prayer are always stronger than one.

Mark Levin said yesterday that Omama has been compared to Carter, but he is not Carter. He said that Obama has been compared to McGovern, but he is not McGovern.

He is both Carter and McGovern. And we are supposed to believe that he cannot be beaten by a conservative in 2012? To the contrary, only a RINO would give Obama a chinaman's chance of reelection!
