Thank you friend. I collect pictures as I go, hope you won’t mind if some of yours end up in my slideshows. You find some really good ones, and I have spent a lot of time in Google searching, lol.
The oil and commission move was, as I understand it, what enabled her to put the GOP crooks involved in jail.
And the legislature was so politicized after her VP run that they wouldn’t have given her any relief—or additional useful legislation.
Yeah, I’d rather she’d have stayed and done the speaking and book-writing on government time the way Romney and so many others have done it. Would have been the politically easier thing to do.
But I see the honor in her move actually having been better for the state, as her sympatico lt. governor was the political target she was.
Boy, that bears repeating over and over again!! I love her little comment that she makes to her husband sometimes; “Did someone tell you you were cute today”?
Keeps him on balance, lol.
Something like that, anyway.
So what would her excuse be when the same crap happens on a bigger scale as POTUS?
We need someone who will be able to withstand the heat not someone who will cut and run even if it sounds justified.
I can’t trust her to stay on the job.
You’re just being silly. Pols move on mid-term all the time. Perry would if he were to be elected. Christie was toying with it. Obama did it.
I think Palin will overcome the issue just fine, but it’s probably harder because she’s female and that probably amplifies the doubts.
Please do quote that statement, over and over. And try to understand it.
I grew up being taught this exact sentiment. Ours is the land of opportunity. We can all work hard and do better than our parents. I still believe that: the best and hardest working will always rise to the top.
I see it in legal immigrants and the children of illegal immigrants all the time.
A couple of brothers we know in San Antonio turned a door-to-door vegetable selling business into money that became a chain of pawn shops.
My husband’s story is similar, although his ancestors are from England and have been here for hundreds of years, he comes from a middle-middle class background. He has worked hard since high school, been lucky and attracted investors. His best thing is helping others be their best, and is now helping several of his employees become store owners.
God bless America and God bless Texas!
What is it with you Palin supporters calling people who disagree with you silly and other names?
Pols may move on but they usually don’t quit mid term because it got too tough to continue in the job.
Comparing Perry’s near 30 year record of public service against Palin’s short record isn’t really a good idea. Perry’s been on the job for over 10 years as governor of the second largest state and the world’s 15th largest economy. Over 4.1 million moved to Texas between 2000 and 2010. Alaska’s population is 710,000 people.
He’s been fighting what 0bama has been doing to his state instead of cutting and running.
You’re sure to win the argument if you keep copying and pasting the same text without actually participating in the topic of the post.
Go ahead, support the pro-amnesty crony capitalist. I’ll take the reformer from Alaska who has driven the national debate the last 2 1/2 years.
It’s a big tent here at FR, there’s room for both of us, but I see no reason for me not to counter the slander that Palin stepped down as governor “because it got too tough”.
FRegards.
You don’t have enough sense to embarrass yourself!
She lost my respect when she showed up in Iowa and wasn't an announced candidate.
Sarah has turned into all talk and no walk and her suspporters are totally disgusting because they really have nothing to support!
I was a palin supporter until I got totally disgusted by people who go around finding fault with all the candidates because they don't have one of their own!
Well it is what a good chunk of voters see in her. Texas is booming in spite of the economy and that is ultimately going to be the main issue in 2012. It’s the jobs, economy, experience and the ability to garner support from more than one demographic in order to win.
Debate is one thing, action is quite another. Talk is cheap. One more thing, the person in the general election has to be able to win against Obama. Palin consistently comes way short of defeating him.
That is the funniest, dumbest comment ever!
Cajun has a real committed candidate to work with!
Sarah is MIA!
And, didn't you get mugged the other day for posting Perry stuff on a Palin() thread?
Oh please don’t confuse him with facts, it will make his head spin and he will stamp his little feet and pout. Besides Perry has already come out and said he handled it wrong, what does this guy, Perry to drop out?
I’ll send you as many as I find!
I love how you showcase them.
Most people barely know who Perry is now. They haven’t really seen or heard him for themselves. It’s a long time and a lot of campaigning before anyone casts a vote.
