ZAPATA COUNTY - Deputies are investigating a shooting at Falcon Lake. Zapata County Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS that the incident happened two weeks ago on the Mexican side of the lake.
The sheriff says a group of men were fishing in their boat when they came under fire. The sheriff says the men doing the shooting appear to be Mexican soldiers.
No one on the boat was hurt, but the boat was hit. We're told a windshield was shot out.
Ssssshhhhhh .... Obama is trying to sink a putt.

One man drive the boat, the rest should be armed and returning fire.
Morons must have forgotten by now that young couple from last year, where the man was killed by Mexican bandidos.
No way would I go near Falcon Lake.
Certainly not without at least two or three good shooters equipped with high quality and well-sighted AR's chambered in .308 or better and several high capacity magazines each.

They have been back to fish, but they go in masse two boatloads at the time, and armed to the teeth. I told them they were crazy, but they said what the hey, it’s open season down there all year long...I forbade myself from asking them open season on what....?

Yeah, I followed that. People who had no idea what the border is like were assuming that it was the wife rather than the constant, ongoing, Mexican-initiated violence down there.
Sheesh, fishing is hard enough, without people shooting at you. This makes it a lot more difficult.
