"... that truth is great and will prevail if left to herself, that she is the proper and sufficient antagonist to error, and has nothing to fear from the conflict, unless by human interposition disarmed of her natural weapons, free argument and debate, errors ceasing to be dangerous when it is permitted freely to contradict them."

Tell us, Perry Parrot, was Perry's support of ACORN an error?

What about his association with "The Race"?

[La Raza]Violence in Denver

The success of the alternative school and Gonzales' political achievements were overshadowed in 1973, when a man was arrested for jaywalking in front of the Crusade's headquarters.[20] A protest against the persecution was organized, leading to confrontations between demonstrators and police. Soon, a gun battle erupted, and a bomb exploded in the upper floors of the Downing Terrace apartments, which were in the possession of the Crusade.[21] One man was killed and seventeen were injured, among them 12 police officers. Gonzales accused the Denver police department of grenading the facilities, but a detective described the scene of the explosion as a "veritable arsenal".[22] Historians and scholars have yet to evaluate the impact of the bombing, but later prosecutions of Crusade participants served to diminish the influence of Gonzales and his organizations.

After this incident, Gonzales retreated into the private life of his family and Denver's Chicano community. He was still active in the movement, although he maintained a much lower profile.[23]

Don't need no Weatherman to see which way Perry blows. La Raza oozed out of the same Leftist orifice as the Weather Underground and the Black Panthers.

"Oops"  Looks like your Fabian NyLon dingy is leaking.   Better paddle faster.

One thing that baffles me about characters like you is that you insinuate yourself into conversations where you’re obviously unwelcome.

All you’ll get for your trouble is dislike and disrespect, and even ridicule. No one will see things your way, you’re too hyperbolic and offensive.

Why inflict yourself with such negative feedback? Does it give you pleasure? Honestly, I’m serious, why do it, do you enjoy torturing yourself? Is self-flagellation your thing?

Perry = prosperity, Obama = austerity

It really is just that simple. As Dame Thatcher said in similar circumstances, there is no alternative.

You're either for one or the other; stated differently in this parlous time, if you're against one, you must be for the other.

La Raza is NOT a fan of Perry. His one positive in their book was his opposition to an Arizona-style immigration law, and even this opposition wasn't what it appeared to be at first. If he's trying to to win La Raza's endorsement, he couldn't be doing it more ineptly.

CRAIG MELVIN, MSNBC anchor: Texas Governor Rick Perry comes from a state where nearly 38 percent of the population is Latino, but his aggressive stance on immigration may cost him some votes in his own backyard, should he get the nomination. He opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants, supports only a limited version of the DREAM Act, and he's also spent some $400 million reinforcing border security. San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro called his initiatives "Easily the most anti-Latino agenda in more than a generation, without shame." Joined now by Lisa Navarrete, member of the National Council for La Raza. Would you agree with that characterization, Lisa?

LISA NAVARRETE, National Council for La Raza: Well definitely more recently. I think a lot will depend on which Rick Perry shows up in this presidential election. You know, last year he spoke, he was an important voice saying that Arizona-style legislation was not the right direction for Texas yet just earlier this year he introduced legislation in the emergency session which mimicked a lot of the provisions of that bill. You know, he's talked about, at our conference, and he's talked about, at the NALEO conference just a couple of months ago, about how integral Hispanics are to Texas' economy and its future. But, you know, on the other hand, he has a voter ID bill that will prevent a lot of them from being able to vote. So it's a question of who shows up.

BLASPHEMY, LomanBill, BLASPHEMY, I SAY!!

Perry is the second coming! For shame, fomenting schism and disrupting the chosen path of the Electable One! That's all Perry followers need say in response to your rabble-rousing recusancy, because one doesn't have to actually reply to criticism of the Perry if one supports Him. All I absolutely must do is insult the person pointing out the facts about Perry, as liberals insult their opponents.

Not that the supporters of Rick Perry are liberals or RINOs. To infer that would be totally completely 100% wrong, because everyone knows that supporting a man who touted LaRaza and ACORN, signed off on hate crime legislation, raised taxes and increased the size of Texas government, stood by and did nothing during the last ten years as illegals bred more Texas anchor babies than the Census could ever imagine counting, subsidized illegals' tuition and gave them student aid on top of that, said Arizona's immigration law wasn't right for Texas and a border wall was ridiculous, even endorsed Rudy Giuliani and Michael Dukakis, heck, supporting a candidate like that, that's clearly the CONSERVATIVE thing to do. To be fair, even if supporting a man like that for the Presidency doesn't seem the conservative thing to do now, it absolutely will be later, because the infallible Rick Perry might promulgate another dogmatic reversal, like His 180 on secession, or eminent domain, or gay marriage, or illegal immigration...it is all part of the holy "conservative" mystery that is Rick Perry, and all should support Him or face His wrath (or the wrath of His proselytes).

So I must ask you, Mr. LomanBill, what are you THINKING posting such anti-Perry heresy!?!?! You ought to be bowing down, asking forgiveness, and basking in his divine radiance like all the rest of us blessed followers of "His" Texas Miracle. Pardon the brevity of this post, but I gotta wrap it up to return to my devotional meditation.

OMMMMMMMMMM RICKY PERRY OMMMMMMM RICKY PERRY OMMMMM
