The Energy of Evil By Norma Zager

When Franklin Roosevelt said we have nothing to fear but fear itself, what did he mean? Did he mean simply we should fear the fearing? If so, why? The paralyzing effects of the negative?
Does fear make us weak? Frightened? Unable to think clearly under pressure? Probably all of those things, but so much more.
There is something far greater to fear about fear. It is anger. If fear turns to anger and then into hatred, it is truly the hatred we must be concerned about allowing into our midst.
Israel is in a conundrum. Her efforts to save herself and protect her people are met with criticism and anger in the world community. So she is quiet, apologetic and meek. Often pretending not to see the obvious mountain of trouble before her eyes.
Of course there are many who espouse Israel must take a “who cares” attitude toward her detractors and her enemies. This posture is doomed to fail. In the overall scheme of the world, it will only prove the ultimate destructive force for the Jewish State.
Nothing angers the human race more than indifference.
Love is inspiring to be sure.
Hatred is something that one learns unpleasantly to contend with.
Ah, but indifference. That is something no one can abide.
When you are loved, you are worthwhile loving and caring about, a warm, fuzzy feeling to be sure.
When you are hated, it still translates in the human psyche to “at least I am important enough to be hated.”
Indifference is intolerable. It says we are less than, so much less, we are not even to be counted. We are not worth loving or hating but we are simply, NOT.
That is a message no human being can endure for long.
We need to be made purposeful. Loved, hated, liked or despised, no matter if such beliefs validate our own image of ourselves as an entity.
Indifference strips us of our meaning, our being.
This inspires true hatred and a resolve to be proven we are worthy, we are someone, we are important in the scheme of things.
Yes, all very interesting, but what has this to do with Israel? A great deal I’m afraid.
Israel’s demeanor of indifference is causing her enemies to adopt a more hateful posture.
In essence, by ignoring her attackers and moving forward with daily business as if Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran do not exist, Israel fuels an even greater resentment, albeit hatred and determination to destroy Israel to make a point.
“We are and we can do. You will notice us, even if it’s with your last breath.”
Evil is a powerful energy. All destructive forces in the universe are.
Rhetoric aside, goodness is wonderful and to be desired, but evil is an energy that can encompass the world and squeeze the very life out of everyone within its universe.
But, you argue, the world was designed so the devil always loses and good always overcomes.
Perhaps, and I agree that is the illusion, but that says nothing to address the actual physiology of evil.
What is overcoming?
What price must be paid to extract victory?
How many lives will pay the price and be swallowed whole into the great abyss of evil before good can or will overcome?
Six million perhaps? Or the hundreds of thousands of children being starved daily in Somalia as we speak? The eight who died the other day in Israel or perhaps all of humanity?
How much will we feed it before we cut off the blood supply?
What are the limits we will set for evil before good even steps in to counter the energy being collected throughout the world?
Still not getting the Israel connection?
Ignoring the enemy does not dissipate his energy. Evil is a hurricane that sucks up everything in its wake and gains speed and power from everything below and around it.
Israel’s indifference to her problems and her enemies creates two destructive situations.
First and foremost, it further angers those who seek her destruction.
Second, it ignores the energy that is increased by all the anger and hatred growing each minute.
Evil will not be stopped through conventional measures. Its power is too strong to be rationally addressed. Simply pretending it does not exist is a non-starter.
Israel must take a strong posture. Stand up and take note of the enemy. Face them down.
Only by going head to head with them can she minimize the growth of hatred and anger indifference promotes.
Calling them out may end in battle, but ignoring them will end in annihilation. Not just for Israel, but all the good in the world.
Now is the time to stand and say, “Yes we have an enemy, and we are prepared to deal with them.”
Invite the spider into your lair. Provide yourself with that precious home court advantage.
Stick a pin in their giant balloon of hot evil energy.
Too many have died for indifference. Too many will die if madness reigns unheeded or unaddressed.
Now is the time to stand and call them out.
It’s high noon on the streets of Israel and we desperately need a Gary Cooper.
Perhaps it is still true what my grandmother used to say...”You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.” And if honey doesn’t work, a fly swatter is always an option.

This is one of the most astute thesis on humanity I’ve seen in a long time. She is correct about fear being anger, and it is the seat of so much evil. And yes, indifference drives people up the wall.
