It's really no surprise given last year's wild U.S. Senate race in Alaska: Heritage Action for America's legislative "scorecard" released today rates Alaska's Lisa Murkowski as the least conservative Republican in the Senate.

When we get someone who is honest in the white house, this lady needs a serious investigation ... I am really impressed how she pulled all that together in the last election, I think she had some illegal support but no one is talking

Yes, a write-in candidate pulling it away from THE GOP candidate printed on the ballot. Nothing but corrupt election theft, plain and simple - and by the GOP of all things.

She should not be permitted to caucus with the GOP. Let her go where her true loyalties lie.

The voters of Alaska decided who the republican was, and who it wasn’t. Bill Buckley long ago said vote for the most conservative candidate WHO CAN WIN. Some in Alaska either forgot that or were too dumb to ever know it in the first place.

It would be more productive to investigate Joe Miller for running such an incompetent campaign. Maybe if he had tried to talk to voters outside the Tea Party instead of assuming a primary win equals the general election, he then might have run a race instead of just expecting a coronation.

Alaska needed Joe Miller.
Many many Alaskans were afraid of losing their Federal benefits and even their union jobs if they voted for Joe Miller and opposed Lisa Murkowski.
People outside the state just don’t realize how difficult and precarious a good paying job is in Alaska, first off you have to practically bribe outright to get hired on in something paying those good Davis Bacon type of wages of over $35 an hour, and then its all seasonal anyway with most work only during the summer season.
I live in Alaska and we work ourselves to death in our limited time of decent weather and then we hope we can survive the oncoming winter.
Lisa Murkowski basically scared the bejeezus out of all those that depend on some form of assistance, UI benefits or Federal grants, she soapboxed that Joe Miller would take it all away, and the people believed her.
Quite honestly I was so ashamed of my fellow Alaskans that I refuse to show it as my home state here on FR.
But her promises are falling short, people are leaving the state, and I know of for a fact that the State Revenue office has gone into a near Nazi like approach to collect anything they can get their hooks into. Property seizures and wage garnishment is happening to a lot of people.
Why?
Because the Federal funding has dried up.

The “daddy’s little girl” snottiness is rather obsolete. First it failed to harm her when it mattered so its now just a display of impotence. Secondly she wasn’t given the election, she fought and won.
As for her qualifications, she didn’t need to be “the most qualified gal in the whole state”. Just seen by the voters as the most qualified candidate in the race. Considering her bumbling opposition, admittedly not that high a plateau.
