A leading member of the Congressional Black Caucus is standing by incendiary language he used at a recent town hall when he charged that tea-party aligned members of Congress view African Americans as “second-class citizens” and would like to see them “hanging on a tree.”
Rep. Andre Carson’s (D-Ind.) office confirmed that the lawmaker made the remarks at an Aug. 22 CBC Job Tour event in Miami and said that the comments were “prompted in response to frustration voiced by many in Miami and in his home district in Indianapolis regarding Congress’ inability to bolster the economy.” …

Carson's one of two who accused Tea Party protestors of ObamaCare of hurling "racial epithets" at them back in March 2010.

There aren’t many comments at the site, but they’re uniformly negative to these guys and Obama. Pretty surprising for a WaPo article.
It's not incendiary, it's stupid, and it should be treated as such...and he should be publicly humiliated for the moron that he is.
Anyone who makes such ridiculous remarks should pointed out as a moron, and called a moron, publicly and often. If that somehow embarrasses certain people, or certain groups of people. Good.
I view anyone that lives off of the taxpayers dime as a second class citizen. Except those who actually work of course.

I must have missed that Tea Party position. I’ve never heard the TP say ANYTHING about race, ever.

The Tea Party has made a, possibly, monumental mistake. They’ve allowed the mouthpiece of the Democratic Party to continue. No doubt, the Dem’s are the problem, but our real problem is that the lie has been given as Gospel and the Truth has been questioned at every turn.
The media should’ve been our first concern. Propoganda is the spearhead of all causes. We should’ve put the fear of God or whatever into the media.
I suck at math but civilization is much like math. Social interactions are very simple. You dominate me or I dominate your. 2+2=4. All of our blogs and commentary isn’t changing what is happening at the top of our gov’t, nor at the top of our society.
