Cheney: Clinton Could Work Better With Republicans Than Obama in White House
Fox News ^ | 9/4/2011 | fox news

Former Vice President Dick Cheney said Sunday that Hillary Clinton might have been better at building bridges with Republicans if she were in the White House than the current president, as he gently egged on the secretary of state to challenge President Obama for his party's 2012 nomination.

Cheney, speaking on "Fox News Sunday," would not go so far as to say Clinton would have made a better president. But, citing a litany of complaints about Obama's approach to the economy, the former vice president said "she might have been easier for some of us who are critics of the president to work with."

"I have the sense that she's one of the more competent members of the current administration," Cheney said. "And it would be interesting to speculate how she might perform."

Though Clinton and other Democrats have persistently quieted speculation that she still harbors presidential ambitions and could consider a 2012 run, Cheney said a Clinton bid "would be good for a two-party system."

"I certainly wouldn't want to discourage a good primary contest on their side," Cheney said, though he noted he'd be supporting the GOP nominee no matter what.

The Clinton’s had/ have no principles and preferred to govern by the ‘weather vane’ strategy that had them going anyway the wind blew. Obama on the other hand has a strong set of principles and is as unyielding about them as his former communist mentors.

Both Hillary Clinton & ex-POTUS, Bill Clinton are flawed human beings, as we all are, but......agree or disagree with them, they both love America & the USA!!! IMHO, POTUS Barack Hussein Obama, loathes America, is anti-American and...in his evil, destructive heart is nothing but a classic African Muslim of the worst kind!!! He is more suited to being the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, murderers of innocent Black African Christians by the thousands. And....ditto for the slaughter of Israeli Jews by his Egyptian Muslim brotherhood brethren!!! What a guy the Democrat Party has bestowed on our country!!!

I agree, though a Democrat woman is, all things equal, far more acceptable to them.

As Charles Gasparino detailed in the opening to one of his books, the Wall Street titans actually worried that Hillary was too much of a socialist believer who might put a stop to their gravy train, so after Obama assured them that he wouldn’t rock their yacht, they switched their massive financial support to him.

Now, just imagine how far away they want to stay from an actual anti-corruption reformer like Palin!

Most anyone picked from the Phone Book would have made a better President than the fraudulent Kenyan we have now.

Would Hillary have been better. The question is How could she have been worse?

I believe it is quite obvious to anyone that Hillary would be a thousand times better than Obama. If the Clinton machine is good at one thing, it is taking the temperature of the public in moving in that direction. Obama is too idealogical to have the same mindset. In his eyes, he is wiser than all of us and knows what is best for us. At least the Clinton’s would do what was necessary to save face - for what is worth.

I would not move off of my Conservative ideals to support Hillary. But, I would love to see her smack little Bammy around a bit. At the end of the day, only a strong Conservative can save this ship now.

“building bridges with Republicans”

With all due respect to Cheney for his tireless national security work, “building bridges” and compromising with Dems simply means finding ways to sustain more big government “solutions” which both RINOs and Dems just love to perpetuate. We’ve been down that road and it has led to economic disaster.
