The 2011 NFL season is barely underway, and already handicappers are predicting who will play in next February’s Super Bowl XLVI; some are picking the Philadelphia Eagles to represent the NFC. At the same time, certain football moralists are ragging against the new contract inked by the Eagles’ quarterback, Michael Vick. They should get off Michael Vick’s rear end and let him play football.

I agree. This man is a turdball who should never been allowed back in the NFL. If one considers the NFL's caving in to the racists libturds' prohibitting of Rush from partial NFL ownership, then this Vick piece-of-garbage should have been dumped immediately. . . . But . . . hey . . . it's payback to Whitey time . . . we get it in the White House . . .

I’ve always been neutral towards sports - since there’s absolutely nothing important about them save for the entertainment they provide to folks. However, in the case of Vic, he is a sleazeball and sadly represents a lot of folks in “professional sports”.

I can forgive Plaxico though. I mean, who doesn’t carry a gun in his pants sometimes.
Now, maybe if you slathered Mr. Vick in raw steak and set loose a pack of hungry Dingo on him during training, I might be inclined to feel slightly sorry for him...should he survive.

The lengths that the refs went to protect him were disgusting. Every time he hit the turf, you could count on a "roughing the passer" flag to come out.
I've not seen it to that extent with any other QB. No idea if he's afforded the same "protection" in Philly, because I've not seen him play there.
Sez me, they're all big boys, they all have pads on. Let 'em play.
I understand that in the game yesterday Vick was forced to scramble at least eight times. Clearly the Eagles should have spent their hundred million on a few stellar offensive linemen. At the rate he’s going, Vick will be injured before too long.
