It was a terrible policy decision on behalf of Perry. On multiple grounds. But, to accuse him of being corrupt and having mandated it to profit Merck is just downright ugly.

Well, Merck would have profited.

Merck gave his campaign $6,000, either just before or just after.

In case you didn't know, that just doesn't look good.......but neither does the rest of those favors he gave to businesses for campaign $$$.

You can stick your head up your rear end for as long as you want and chant la la la, but this is not a winning issue for him. It's called pay to play the Texas way.

I agree. She had better have some proof of corruption. Otherwise the word for what she did was slander.

If he manages to explain this, perhaps he and his supporters will explain how he claimed ignorance to Gore’s insanity when Gore was on NOVA in 1983 babbling about the crisis to mankind that is ‘global warming’.

Did he not say Gore wasn’t the radical he is today way back then? And please don’t expect anyone to believe that he didn’t know. HE WAS ON TV spouting it.

So what gives? He either was clueless then or a liar now. Neither of which makes for good leadership.

“It was a terrible policy decision on behalf of Perry. On multiple grounds.”

Then what is your explanation for him doing so that is compatible with him being president?

He was stupid? He was careless? He doesn't care about our children? He was completely uninformed, yet pushed it anyway? He knows better what is good for your children than you do?

I don't know if it is corruption, but it STINKS to high heaven.
