Even the daughter of one of the most conservative parents had premarital sex. You do NOT want to go there with that kind of argument because it will be very very unpleasant for all of us. That is all that needs to be said on this.
While I fervently hope my 17 yo daughter remains chaste until marriage (and I think she has a good chamce of it) I had her vaccinated with gardasil. I cannot guarantee she will never be raped (God forbid). I cannot also guarantee her future husband will have been chaste until marriage. Herpes infection is a major cause of cervical cancer and a threat to fertility. If I can spare her those complications with a vaccine, why wouldn’t I?
