Let's hope this trend crosses over into the world of politics.

“Donkey Abandoned As Feed Cost Rises”

Is this about Zero and his minions or animals?

(And yes there is a difference. Donkeys, the animal, have some use in the world, whereas zero and his ilk.....)

PETA raises a lot of money for abandoned animals and they should be able to raise funds to feed abandoned donkeys.

In all seriouseness, this is sad. Not at all in to animal rights, but I do have a big problem with neglect and mistreatment particularly with domesticated animals

For years I’ve felt the government should build an aqueduct. One side of the country is flooded and the other side is in a drought.

I can’t understand why they don’t. I can’t understand someone else besides me would think of it. Would be years of work for some and then maintenance and save millions from floods. Seems like a good idea.?

True it is sad to see these poor animals abandoned. Perhaps things could be turned around if the support and feeding of a particular political breed of Donkey were to be abandoned instead. Then all the other donkeys could live happily ever after.

For years I’ve felt the government should build an aqueduct. One side of the country is flooded and the other side is in a drought.

I've thought of that, too, and if there's any country with the technical expertise to do it, it's the U.S. However, I suspect the govt would wrap the project in enough red tape to choke it, and the environmental watermelons would oppose it as they oppose every change that might benefit humans at the expense of the "threatened" species of the week.

The people who run PETA are very good at sucking money out the the pockets of animal lovers. They are less than honest because they don’t reveal that they not all animals can be rescued.

My first thought is, “Are you a GOD?”

Because even the US cannot do such a thing.

My second thought is,”Brinkman! Next time someone asks if you are a god, say YES!”:

You would have to build something on the scale of the Mississippi River.

It appears by the numbers at least in some states, peta puts most of the animals they receive down.

We built the Erie Canal. And we finished it in 1825 - which was about two years after the invention of the wheel, and 500 years before the invention of electricity!
