Totally agree with your assessment.
My thoughts on the debate:
Romney- less and less all the time and I never liked him to begin with. He’s establishment and a BS artist.
Perry- just appears out of his league to me. Long pauses to collect a coherent answer which comes out mediocre at best.
Bachmann- Love her conservatism but the attack on Perry was unbecoming but only insomuch as I don’t think it’s good to hurl accusations.
Newt and Santorum- Straight shooters. Common sense and with and smart and articulate voices for true conservatism. Neither can win though.
Cain- Love him but not enough there to get him a nomination.
Huntsman- Who cares? Just taking up space and air. Go away already
Paul- Really showing now what a true lunatic he is.
I think there’s room for more candidates
So are you saying/inferring we need Sarah?
I admittedly quit listening to Santorum about the sixth time he mentioned that he won his election in Pennsylvania. lol.
Unfortunately for Newt, I’m not sure if I can ever move past the betrayals of the past and wholesaly accept him for what he presents today.
Romney looked weird turning to face whomever was talking. I know he was being polite, however, it was offputting.
Perry got flustered a couple of times and it shows.
Cain never gets enough camera time to matter, though what he says is always good and spot on.
Bachmann did well on some questions but really kept this pious attitude the whole time that left me....unsettled. I really did not appreciate the constant use of “I” “Me” etc. in every one of her answers.
Huntsman and Paul are losers. Huntsman is more “moderate” than Romney and Paul is a lunatic. Both are non starters.
Overall, I thought everyone but Huntsman and Paul came off with really good answer here and there; but ultimately I don’t think anyone hit a grandslam.
