Look for restaurants to reduce their portion sizes but not their prices. I’ve no doubt a lot of corporate toadies are looking at this as a gift from Moochelle as a handy way to buck up their food cost.

My experience is restaurants are already reducing portion sizes in an effort to minimize price increases resulting from the high single digit food price inflation the country is experiencing.

What about the government inflation statistics? They no longer include food and energy prices making the index weighted more to housing prices (still declining).
