Let's go back to when people raised a center pole then tied poles around it ~ then toss on cloth or hides ~ tipi here, lavu in Europe.

If you toss a camp like that you'll leave behind an imprint created by decaying vegetation that will define the place inside where each individual made his bed, or worked.

You leave the camp, take your lavu with you, follow the animals and the campsite will become more visible with time as a low level photoreactive chemical process lightens parts and darkens other parts.
