Neat story.

Here is a pet peeve with me. When reporters write about archiology stories, and are too lazy to get an estimated date, they just plop in 2000 years ago. As if EVERYTHING happened 2000 years ago.

It was a busy year. Everyone was making their -y2k preparations. Thankfully that year passed without any incident, although the preparations they took look sort of silly today. Just like for +y2k.
