There really wasn’t a big problem with DODT, even though I thought it was a bad idea when it was implemented. Shutting one’s mouth ought not be punished...but this openly serving stuff is asking for trouble.

When I was in the AF during the mid to late 70’s, there were two separate occasions that a homosexual made advances on me. I politely declined, and promptly found somewhere else to be. I believe, now with the elimination of DADT, these incidents will greatly increase. However, I envision that there will be a different type of reaction by those who are hit upon compared to my own. Especially if incidents like this occur in a battle zone.
