It is more of the Quartet idiocy. Timetables for what? The Palestinians have refused to negotiate. The Quartet thinks that by putting a “timetable” it will placate Abbas, forcing Netanyahu to come to a quick deal. But all Abbas has to do is refuse, which he all he has ever done.
I hope the Security Council will vote down the PA - so that we don’t have to veto it. But if it comes to it we need to veto it. PLO doesn’t deserve what they are asking for. The whole of the UN should see that. To vote for a PLO state now is to vote to imperil a member state, and more.
Good point. Why do the palestinians deserve a state? They never owned the land. They were/are jordanians. And the jordanians only took possession after the Israeli War of Independence. They have no title to the land. G-d gave it to the Jews. ENOUGH!
