I was thinking about Romney today. He is not my ideal candidate, I really like Palin. Still I voted for Romney in 2008. I started out for Thompson, but he fizzled along with everyone else and I preferred Romney to McCain since McCain was predictably going to run a whimp deferential campaign hoping for the NYTimes vote.

As for Perry, well I am not enamored of Dim turning themselves into Republicans just because they can not win statewide in their state as a Dim. I will give Romney this, he did not switch parties, he ran as a Republican in MA. Add to it that Perry’s instincts, forced vaccines and calling people who disagree with him on policy “heartless” are clearly Dim leaning. I would not trust him to stick to any conservative ideals he claims to have in the Dim swamp that is DC.

So I while I do not hope either wins the nomination, I prefer Romney to Perry but ultimately want Palin.

I’d rather have not have a dream act or an individual mandate though the latter is worse.

How can the “Tea Party” election have these craptacular “frontrunners”?
