Election 2012: Hispanics, blacks and others among President Obama’s base may be abandoning him, but Muslims are holding fast. Apparently, theirs is a special bond born of shared interests.
When Barack Hussein Obama first stepped into office in January 2009, he had 92% approval among blacks, 75% approval among Hispanics and 58% approval among whites, according to Gallup.
Since then, his monthly approval has dropped eight points among blacks, 27 points among Hispanics and 25 points among whites.
Blacks are frustrated with Obama's failure to create jobs in a recession that has hit African-Americans hardest. Discord is so bad that even the Congressional Black Caucus is taking jabs at the first black president.
Hispanics, meanwhile, are miffed at Obama's failure to ram amnesty for illegal immigrants through Congress.
Polls show Obama also has lost ground with independents, while young people have cooled off on him.
He is losing much of his 2008 base of voters with one notable exception: Muslim-Americans. They remain exceedingly loyal to the president. In fact, their enthusiasm for Obama has swelled.

In the run up to the 2008 election, my brothers and sisters could not believe that I was going to stick to my conservative Republican values, and not vote for the LightWorker from Utopia. They damn near disowned me over it.
Funny thing, though. About a year and a half into Zero's mal-administration, they totally quit talking about him, or emailing my poofter puff pieces about him to me. I sensed then, that they were already beginning to see the horror they'd helped to bring upon our country.
Now that he's falling like a lead balloon, I wonder if they privately admit to themselves that I was right all along, and wish that they could bring themselves to say it to my face?

Probably; here in NJ a lot of people were duped into voting for him. Now only the least assimilated minorities and most deviant homosexuals still have the bumper stickers. The other stickers didn’t disappear through attrition, as the post-9/11 flags did; they were carefully removed, often within the first year of Obama’s reign.
Well, my family's pretty liberal, but they don't fall into either of those two categories. Even so, their support for him has waned.
I flew back to California in April of last year for my dad's 80th birthday party. After the big party, we all gathered back at his place. Later I stepped out front for a smoke, and noticed that there wasn't a single Obama sticker on any of my family's cars.
I was actually shocked by that, but it sort of gave me a clue to why none of them were talking about him. At the time, Zero had only been in office a little over a year.

I don't think any media or talking personality wants to recognize that. It is so obvious we have a Muslim president.

It was probably after the Cambridge police incident, in which our post-racial president turned out to be nothing more than a black “F the police” agitator. The white police officer was thoroughly vindicated, publicly defended by fellow black officers, and no apology was ever issued by Obama Kenyatta. It was downplayed at the time, but lost him most of his white support (and “Ted Kennedy’s” Senate seat). It was all downhill from there for him.
