Will Michele Bachmann make it to Iowa? Insiders are whispering that the Tea Party darlings financials are grim and she may be out of the race before she makes it to the Iowa caucus in February, even though she has a strong base in the state.
Sources tell us say Bachmanns skeletal staff are holding their collective breath until the deadline to disclose her fundraising report on Oct. 15. Meanwhile, we hear a computer vendor has called her campaign headquarters threatening to shut down the power due to an outstanding bill.
Sources say she had about $400,000 at the beginning of September, but also stacks of bills. She does not like to ask for money. She should have been focusing on big donors about three months ago, a source said

Cain’s cash position is even worse, he said yesterday he had almost quit 2 times so far.
Guess Rollins cost her more than she budgeted for.
YIKES! That is really bad. One of the things people look to is for them to be able to raise funds for the party (or at least for themselves). She has a LOT of supporters on this site, if they dig deep they can help her to avert an disaster. No wonder she was looking fondly at Romney, he probably offered to help pick up some of her campaign debt like he did T-Paw.

The Perrybots nearly succeeded in crushing the real conservatives in the race: Cain & Bachmann, leaving the road clear for the country-club favorite: Myth Romney. Thanks a lot, Perrybots, for throwing your phony into the race.
I’ve heard this elsewhere. I actually think she’s one of the better candidates in this race, but if she doesn’t like to ask for money, she’s in the wrong business.
wow seriously, you are from an alternate dimension.
I can't wait for American's CEO's to decide who is the best candidate so that I can get behind that person 100%.
I'm so greatful to live in a country where money talks and BS walks. Where mediocrities like me have little say in how our country is run or who our elected officials are.
I'm happy knowing that most, if not all, of these decisions are being left up to those at the top like Immelt, Balmer, Gates, the "Oracle of Omaha", etc.
wait till you see Perry’s numbers, 10 million + is what I am hearing.
Yeah, she’s done, but it irritates me that so many people on FR are rejoicing over this as some form of “karma” for her hiring of Rollins.
She is a solid conservative. But her organization skills are lacking. When Perry got into the race, she had a very small window to craft an agenda/outline plan for specifics on what she would do. Cain came out with the 9/9/9 plan, Newt the 21st Century CwA, and others stole Palin’s 0 Corp Tax idea. Bachmann, however, kept relaying the same talking points over and over again. There’s nothing wrong with them, it’s just she never get beyond them and that’s what you have to do. Pretty sad that when Perry collapsed, she should have benefited the most, but her inability to organize has doomed her. It’s over.
If she is not getting donations, maybe she is not quite the TP darling the MSM wishes she was?
I don’t get why low or no money means she can’t make it to Iowa. She has her base of support in Iowa and they’re not going anywhere and if she just hangs in there she’ll be on the ballot for her base to vote for her. Does she have to be out there spending money every day between now and the caucuses? What am I missing?
Believe me, she has no problem asking for money.
Just send her a buck and see what happens.
Here’s the key sentence in the article that shows where her problem lies:
“She does not like to ask for money. She should have been focusing on big donors about three months ago.”
If you’re not asking for donations, people might assume you’re OK money-wise.
No, she doesn’t mind asking for money...however, I found her telephone solicitors to be rude and overbearing after I got on her list as a result of a contribution made when Governor Palin endorsed her for the 2010 House race. It finally got so bad, I had to ask that they not call any more. That’s really too bad as she does have a lot of admirable qualities...the misguided choice of hiring Rollins being a notable exception.
Romney and Perry have the big bucks behind them. Sarah Palin is probably the only one who could raise enough from the grass roots to wage an effective campaign.
LOL you crack me up you really do
Every time I come on here I see you trying to plug your man.
Well at least you try in the face of dying numbers.
Your phony pseudo-conservative is dead. You conned millions of people into supporting an Al Gore Demonrat instead of a real conservative. Goodbye and good riddance.
