I was wondering the same thing. I don’t have time to do research today but I did find this:

Over half went to Rudolph and Sletten a wholly owned subsidiary of Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE:TPC), Tutor Perini Corporation (formerly Perini Corporation) is controlled by California-based investor group led by Los Angeles-based construction executive Ron Tutor and investor Richard Blum, both major Democrat supporters, but more importantly Richard Blum is the husband of United States Senator from California Dianne Feinstein.

The real estate brokerage firm involved in Solyndra’s deals is CB Richard Ellis (CBRE). Again CBRE’s owner and chairman is none other than the San Francisco-based financier Richard Blum.

The 500,000 square foot building Solyndra leased was described as an “albatross” in San Jose Business Journal article at the time.

Why did Solyndra buy the land for its manufacturing facility? Tech startups don’t buy land. Yes, but the seller was McMorgan & Co., a firm closely tied to the Democratic Party, and at one point linked to Willie Brown.

Do deeper research into Perini and you will find deep chicago connections that date back to the Capone days if my memory serves me. They also held a prime piece of property in West Palm for many years that was undeveloped that was near the airport again if memory serves me. I was know of an attempt to do a land swap on that property and that was when I learned of those connections from talking with one of the individuals involved. They scared the He>> out of him.

Perini Construction is an old Massachusetts company that owned the Boston Braves back in 1948. Go look it up
