I am trying to educate everyone on this forum that Cochlear Implants right now are being viewed as the panacea for Deafness.....however, that is not always the case.
We can agree to disagree, that is fine. No reason to claim that I'm "bitter". Last time I checked, FR does not tolerate personal attacks.
Apparently this technology is a little different from what Rush uses, or what you may be familiar with - dunno. He says he can’t use it. Don’t know why.

Your bitterness does not mean our recognition of that fact is a personal attack. We have an American who lives in the White House who also whines and moans about the beauty in America.
If the nerve to the brain is damaged or destroyed, or if the cochlea were not present or destroyed, would this be a reason for surgery not to be effective?
When I read your first response to clearcaseguy, the first word that came to mind was “bitter.” I’m not saying you’re a bitter person. I am saying that the sentiment of your post is bitter.
