Hank Williams, Jr., the voice famous for asking millions of football fans whether they’re ready for some football, has been pulled from tonight’s broadcast of “Monday Night Football” over a comment he made on Fox News this morning.

Williams, who sings the lead-in song to the game each week, criticized the president for his golf summit with House Speaker John Boehner this summer.

“It would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli leader) Benjamin Netanyahu,” Williams told “Fox & Friends.”

USA Today, among others, picked up the quote, speculating on whether the comparison would get Williams booted from the broadcast .

Another person gonna be missing from Monday Night Football: Me! Hank did not compare Bambi to Hitler. He said it would be like Hitler and Netanyahu playing golf. Coulda been comparing him to Bibi, or no one. ESPN can go to Hell.

That is sooo true. The Obotski are always trying to stifle the opposition. Because Hank Jr. wasn’t even saying Obama was Hitler, or that Boehner was the Jewish person Netanyahoo whatever, but instead that Obama sucks. BUT, this is a free country and everybody is entitled to their opinion. Sooo, I am going to express MY opinion about ESPN who I don’t ever watch anyway because it is always just grunty little malebeasts beating up on each other, but now I will BE POSITIVE not to watch them. Even if friends come over and stuff.

Basically that’s the reason I don’t watch news on TV or listen on radio. I do down here because it gives me some insight into Aussie culture. And I do watch Aussie rules footie (as it’s called here) at the pub with friends on Saturday nights as entertainment. Thing is though, there are so many people watching ESPN I don’t think they’d even notice if you didn’t. It has to be a mass protest of some sort to get their attention.

"Everything about 0 is Hitlerisk."

I would ask that you consider Mussolini to be a more accurate comparison.

Remember folks, this is the same “sports” network that yanked Rush Limbaugh for “contriversial” remarks about Donavn McNabb. So it doesn’t surprise me that they would pull Hank Williams Jr.The upper echilon management is so far left they have to look to their right to see the President

Well, it was a bad analogy any who. More like Netanyahu playing golf with Arafat.

Hussein would have liked that comparison even less.

Hussein would have liked that comparison even less.

Oh, no doubt but it would have been far more accurate on several levels.

Why did ESPN assume Hank was referring to Obama as Hitler, when Boehner is a German name?
