First lady Michelle Obama may want to go on another Target shopping trip in February: That’s when a limited-edition collection by Jason Wu, one of her favorite designers, will hit stores across the country.
Women’s Wear Daily reported Monday that after Target’s Missoni collaboration was a huge success, the store has tapped Wu to be the next to design an affordable collection for the design-conscious retailer. The 60’s inspired line will reach stores Feb. 5, and items will be priced at $60 or less - a considerable discount from his eponymous fashion line.

Sorry pal or palette. THAT'S WHY SHE WENT TO TARGET LAST WEEK and the White House leaked her "Target run" to the "media" for their photo shoot. She was promoting this crap for Target. It was a promotional stunt. News "media" people are so gullible.

I’m not going to be waiting in any lines at Target for Wu’s designs... I actually feel sorry for some of the designers who have only come to attention because Michelle has worn them - she’s NOT who you want to be wearing your clothes, and making your name for you!
I absolutely agree with you! Years back when she wore it I made the comment to my girls that it looked like my Grandmother’s Chenille bedspread that I’ve got in my closet! LOL

That was THE ugliest FLOTUS Inaugural gown in recent history. It looked like something whipped up from an old chenille bedsread. With crystal beads, of course.
Looked like a toilet paper gown, IMO ... and if I see Wu’s name on anything at Targhetto... well, then I ain’t buying.
