Jim,
In my humble opinion, I would replace Perry with Santorum. I just can’t get past the fact that Perry is so much in the pocket of Mexico including having meeting with the Fox and others from Mexico and the bennies to illegals. Well it looks as if Perry is crash and burning on his own.

Sincerely,
Bob

Well, we'd sure love your help to make sure we get a better GOP nominee than that.

Why resign yourself to a bad situation when we can work now to make sure it's a decision we never have to face?

Anybody but Romney, McCain, or any other RINO.

I will never vote for Romney, no the circumstances.

You missed my point. Its a very good possibility that Romney will go with either Cain or Rubio.

Cain has been helping Romney since the last election. His guy Mitt didn’t get it so I wonder who he wound up voting for?

We have seen Cain’s colors in playing the race card - that shows he still has a brotherhood connection which is stronger than a conservativ connection.

Not sure why folks here can’t see that.

Yup. There is something wrong with each and every one of our candidates. Jesus Christ is not running. But Satan is. His earthly name is Obama and his co-conspirator is ultra-progressive Mitt Romney. Abortion, gay marriage, gun-control, socialism, progressiveism, etc, are pure evil and antithetical to liberty and will be the death of our constitutional Republic if not stopped. And, I’ll remind you, that Romney tried to run to the left of Ted Kennedy on these very issues. Mitt Romney is totally evil. And he’ll look you right in the eye and lie about it. He’s not even a lesser evil.

It’s anyone but Obama or Romney.

The GOP establishment believes that there is a large block of voters between democrats and republicans.

They believe that they need to moderate their position (read: drift leftwards) to earn the votes of the middle types. This is the GOP strategy for maximizing votes.

I think the GOP establishment needs to know that there is a large block of voters that is to the right of the Republican party. I’m in that block and I cannot allow the GOP to drift leftward anymore.

I held my nose and voted for McCain. Others held their nose while supporting Ahhnold for California Governor. Both were failures.

The GOP establishment assumes that those on the right will simply go-along. We need to change that perception.

- - - - - <=Line in the sand

I’m going nuclear.

I will not vote for anyone to the left of George W. Bush. In the present crop of candidates, that includes Romney and Huntsman. I will hold my nose and vote for Paul/Perry/Ginrich. I will vote with two hands if the GOP nominee is Cain/Bachmann/Santorum/Palin. But I will not vote for Romney or Huntsman.

You got that GOP?

Go for it. But I doubt Santorum will gain much traction.

The candidate has got to be a real, non establishment conservative. Good polling news this week for Herman Cain. I am not saying yet if this is the person...but someone like him is what this Country needs.

Jim has it right, if the GOP nominates the wrong candidate the conservatives will be flipping mad this year. The GOP has one last chance to get it right.

Everyone has to know that playing the race card is wrong. That’s why Cain can’t be in any Perry supporter’s list any longer.

Cain did not play the race card. Clearly, you do not know what "playing the race card" means.

If Cain said 'Perry doesn't like my 9-9-9 Plan because I am black' then THAT is playing the race card.

Cain hates liberal racism and is proud to be a self-made man from a poor family. He has never played the race card in all his years.

It is vile and dishonest for you to claim Cain uses the race card to his advantage.

If you support Perry, fine. Perry was the victim of a liberal smear. Your anger is misplaced.

Absolutely not. I will campaign against Romney and Obama. Will either vote third party or write-in. And anyone accusing me of supporting Obama if I don’t support gun-grabbing/abortionist/statist/socialist Romney can go straight to hell as far as I’m concerned.

Start telling eveyone how bad deomcrat Romney is. Just say it everywhere you go. While you are checking out at a grocery store or depositing money at the bank..Just say out of the blue,
“That Romney who is running for President is a scary fellow. Oh, and have a nice day”

“Perry was the victim of a liberal smear. Your anger is misplaced”

True. But Cain wandered in and tried to lend a hint of credibility to the smear.
