Sarah Palin already said that Rick Perry was a good Tea Party candidate. So I’m not so worried about “getting a tea party candidate” past him.

Your arithmetic does not add up, Texas Eagle. 33 + 20 + 1 = 54 You conveniently did NOT include the 10 Palin endorsements that did not even win their primaries. True Total: Won: 33 Lost: 30 Look at the map in the link. Of her endorsements, most conservative victories were in conservative areas where conservatives would have won with or without any endorsement. In U.S. Senate seats, Palin's candidate in her own State of Alaska lost to a WRITE-IN candidate and the Christine O'Donnell fiasco in Delaware took a sure Senate seat from a moderate Republican and gave it to a self described "bearded Marxist" after O'Donnell was beaten like a rented mule in 2010, exactly as she was beaten like a rented mule in 2008.

It's not my math, it's The Washington Post's math. Which shouldn't be surprising that it doesn't add up.

Even so, a 50% success rate (or failure rate depending on the intensity of your hatred for Sarah Palin), hardly constitutes that Palin has "always" been a high political risk.

I'd stack her results against anybody else's and I'd be willing to bet she would come out ahead.

President Urkel for instance. How many RATS did he campaign for in the '10 election cycle that lost primaries or generals?

I watched Santorum trash Sarah on Fox after she stepped down as Gov. It was terrible, he said he and his wife were very disappointed in her.

Santorum also backed Spector over Toomey...yes I know GW did also, and I remember the reason they gave, but still???

Rick always reminded me of a store mannequin
