“I would think Cain and Bachmann.”

Cain, maybe. Bachmann, highly unlikely. First off, Bachmann’s campaign is about done-she went over the cliff when she hyperventilated on all the Gardisil stuff. Second, I don’t get the impression that Palin was ever all that close with Bachmann.

My guess is she’s waiting for one of the true conservatives to emerge from the pack and for the rest of the herd to thin out a bit. When it’s apparent who is the candidate that is in the best position to knock out Romney, that is probably who she’ll endorse. At this point, that would be Mr Cain, who Sarah has said she likes. But if Perry gets things turned around, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to see her endorse him.

I know some here probably don’t want to believe that she would endorse Perry, but they are good friends and she has endorsed candidates in the past with fewer conservative credentials than Perry. For example, McCain, Carly Fiorina, and Kelly Ayotte in 2010 just to name a few.

Bottom line-I think she’ll endorse at some point, but probably not until a ways into the primaries and at the time when it can do the most damage to RINO Romney.
