It’s endorsements like these, that make me SURE I would never vote for a candidate.
Now, if Sarah Palin endorsed Cain, then that’s an endorsement I can believe in!!!

He has mine too, but actually it is not surprising. Christie is a governor, Romney is a former governor and both are from the north east of the US
this is all just noise to me. I’m rooting for Cain. If Romney gets the nomination I will not be voting or I will vote for a 3rd party candidate. Romney will not get Tea Party support and will have a snowball’s chance in hell at beating Obama.
Romney is certainly opposed, but the Conservative vote is split. Cain is getting the plurality of it, but Perry is still getting enough to keep Romney atop, not to mention the gains that Gingrich as made to around 9%, and every percentage point will count, including the 3 or 4% each that Santorum and Bachmann take:
BEFORE the SC primary, the race needs to shake up. I am worried, Perry’s money will keep him in regardless of his performance in IA and NH.
Romney gets 24% in SC.
If Perry (15%), Gingrich (8%), Santorum (3%), Bachmann (3%) drop out and get behind Cain (25%), it’s a blow-out. But because all these conservatives will feel SC is their best chance after IA, they may opt to stay in.

Because Romney is a well known factor and nobody who is conservative wants to see him elected. Perry is mostly unknown outside of Texas and came across as a good option initially.
IMO Perry has blown it and no longer has a chance. His comments about immigration did it for me.

The GOP establishment has ‘chosen’ Romney. Brilliant optics, isn’t it? Put forth the most plastic, robotic candidate imaginable, who will be seen as a zillionaire representative of Wall Street, not the ‘people.’ Right during a time of severe economic distress. Add to this the most jaw-dropping record of flip-flopping on every issue known to man. Brilliant!

Romney had to do something to stop the Cain Train.
And this is going to change who’s vote? If anything it might reduce Romney’s take. It will convince some that this is status quo which it is. IOW Christie die hards = Romney die hards, an identity. They’ve already decided.(Then again he might cause 1 or 2 percent to be sucked away from the RINO non-conservative also-rans down in the noise.)
