Does not surprise me either. Frankly a RINO is the only sort of Republican who could win an election in MD, NY, NJ, or anyplace in New England except maybe New Hampshire. Best we can hope for, for now.

Agreed. I think they need to bump Cain out of the headlines.

Many A tiny number of Perry supporters think promote the ludicrous idea that Cain is trying to position himself for the VP spot on Romney's ticket.

Handwriting is going on the wall, folks. Far as the non-FReeping world is concerned, Romney is practically unopposed.,

Whatever. I will NEVER, EVER cast a vote for Romney. I despise that Progressive pig. He will just be an arrogant placeholder until the next Marxist attains power.

Romney will ONLY grow government. Romney HATES everything that Conservatives believe in.

P.S. I don't care to hear about "what about Supreme Court appointments."

I don’t think so. Outside of the Northeast, Christie doesn’t have much name recognition among the common folk. There’s many who once they learn Christie is from NJ will ignore his endorsement particularly in the South, Midwest and West. I don’t think it really helped Romney.

I disagree.

Cain doesn’t need anyone’s endorsement except that of the voters on Primary Day.

I’ve heard that here quite a bit. It may be true, but I’m not sure I believe it. I don’t have the sense that that is Cain’s intention at this time. BUT....if offered, Cain might just consider accepting the offer. If he is serious about changing the downward direction we are caught up in he would WANT to be part of a new government....but Romney?? That would be really, really hard to accept. (intense, disgusted shudder here)

I view Cain as David and Romney as big, bad Goliath. If those of us who like the idea of a Cain presidency really want to see that happen, we need to start providing some ‘small stones’ to the Cain campaign, in the form of those dimes, nickels, quarters, etc. He needs to be able to compete against that money machine.

It CAN be done. David selected three stones before facing down Goliath, but it only took ONE to take down the giant.

“Far as the non-FReeping world is concerned, Romney is practically unopposed.”

Not true. Anecdotally, I can say that I have had several conversations with non-Freepers who now have Cain on their radar.

(Not because I brought it up, either!)

My guess is that it wlll be Cain. She did say that it would be an “surprising” campaign, or words to that effect. I so hope she does.

Why is Rush so negative on Herman Cain?

Maybe Rush believes a Radio Talk Show Host doesn’t have the ability to be POTUS?

Some of the polls show Cain close to Obama now. I suspect members of the Tea Party and their supporters already know who Cain is. That leaves the independents that Cain is steadily reaching.

The panic surfacing among the Democrats already shows Cain is already well known in many circles.

Sorry to hear this, let’s see who Sarah endorses.

You’ve got to be kidding! She supported McCain last presidential election so how can anyone here trust her judgment?

Cain needs an endorsement

No, Romney needs the endorsement in order to fend off a rising Cain. But, FWIW, Lee Greenwood endorsed Herman Cain as did Dennis Miller last week. So far...

I agree that we need to put our money where our mouth is. In order to fight the Rino establishment we need to make some donations to Cain so it’s not business as usual.

You can do it online
