>>Im hoping that after Romney gets his well deserved beat down this season, that he will have the good sense to just disappear from the political scene forever.<<
I agree. Him and RON PAUL. Sheesh.

"The more conservatives in this race, the more full-throated, unapologetic, peddle-to-the-medal conservatives in this race, the greater the opportunity one of them is going to be elected in."
Boy, if that was his impression of Hispandering Perry, did he ever get it wrong! Yes, I am aware Rush has been Perry's cheerleader in the past.
But he never called him his "dream candidate." Never.
And he has never called him out on his weakness on immigration in the same way Mark Levin has.

Yeah, quite a body of work, isn’t it. ;-p

I agree. Romney destroyed the GOP in MA. He would destroy the conservative movement and Tea Party activism across the country, if elected.

My only question is: who around here is supporting Myth? I have the same question. Seems like there's a lot of discussion on why we should not support someone who no FReepers are supporting. Is it prophylactic or what?

Try thinking a little more deeply: the hateful putdowns of Cain supporters and the irrational smears of Perry AND HIS WIFE, serve the designs of the elitist pubby establishment. These attacks methodologies do not promote Herman Cain or Rick Perry because such effusive crap turns people off to the one they believe the hateful poster supports.
And if you don't believe it, watch how this post will get trashed ... it doesn't require nasty sentences aimed at insulting fellow freepers, to post facts about a candidate you don't support. Reducing turnout will work in the establishment's candidate's favor. Democraps have used this tactic for deacdes. Milt supporters use it so they do not have to expose for whom they are working.

it doesn't require nasty sentences aimed at insulting fellow freepers, to post facts about a candidate you don't support. Unfortunately, even some "conservatives" become emotionally involved with their candidate selection, sometimes to the point of "defending" them with vitriolic posts. Posts do not have to be "rational" and sometimes/often aren't. Although I know FR does have trolls, I think most of the nasty posts are from people lashing out, often because of desperation, when the candidate they support is doing poorly and they don't really know who to blame, so they blame everyone who supports another candidate.
Palin supporters posts became more and more bitter the clearer it became that she would not be the nominee. Perry supporters posts are becoming more an more vitriolic the further his poll numbers confirm he will not be the nominee. Although it's unnecessary and not helpful to anyone, I guess it's just part of human nature.

But he never called him his "dream candidate." Never Sure he did.
Fox News Greta Van Susteren asked Rush Limbaugh during their interview last night who his dream candidate for the 2012 presidential elections would be. The titan of talk radio responded, I would like for Rick Perry to get in to it.
