HENRICO, VA (WWBT) – NBC12 has uncovered one of those stories that makes you think: "How in the world does that happen?!" A truck filled with President Obama's podiums and audio equipment was stolen in Henrico just days before his visit to Chesterfield.
We confirmed an investigation with the U.S. Defense Department. There are still a lot of questions. The biggest one being did the thieves intentionally target the President's truck or did they take advantage of a crime of opportunity and give a big "uh-oh" when they saw what was inside.
When you see President Obama speak, there is a pretty typical setup including the presidential seal on a podium, the see-thru Teleprompter and a portable sound system.
Thieves saw the truck carrying that equipment and couldn't resist the target.

I guarantee there was more than one person supposed to be watching the truck and they certainly aren't paying them minimum wage!
When President Bush came here they stored all the equipment including the limo in our fire stations, not some local motel 6. He stayed with friends. The same with Clinton, he stayed with friends and didn't leave the equipment in any truck at some hotel/motel.
That tells me Obama doesn't have any friends willing to put his *ss up for the night and the people working for him are too stupid to figure out the safest place for $200,000 worth of government equipment!

Very strange. Obama has at least twice as much security as any previous POTUS, yet they let this happen. Suppose someone had put a bomb or something in the podium?
I think Obama brought a lot of Chicago thugs along with him and put them into the S.S., so he could be surrounded by his own guys. Looks like they may not be as competent as they should be.
