funny!
bill, you know, is so brilliant.
he’s the guy that has that herd of moo cows
and stupid and evil liberals on his big tv show.
That’s not funny.
Do you mean that Gays don’t like Bill O’Reilly?
Yep.
What’s the matter with these soldiers, not Mitt Romney supporters?
I have an aversion toward burning books after the Nazis did it.
having been in the military,
i doubt many are going to read bill’s book.
This sounds very queer.......
Good source of heat out on the FOB.......
Probably shipped by the Bloviator himself, after buying them off the shelf of his local Dollar Tree.
In 2005, I sent to radio battalion Marines books with collections of short stories and they were pretty well-received. However, over the past few years, magazines have been the preferred choice for special operations and infantry units. I think the magazines are popular because I usually toss in several Victoria’s Secret catalogs or SI Swimsuit Editions along with See’s Candies, French press coffeemakers, and smokeless tobacco.
I can remember being so bored that I read the labels off cans and boxes to have something to do. A news paper was read to tatters, the crossword carefully recopied so others could do it, 40 year old magazines were passed around and the few paperbacks were held together by tape. If you dared breathe a hint of how the story ended you were subject to being taken outside and being gently shown the error of your ways.
I guess things have changed.
“magazines are popular because...”
Our society is increasingly illiterate.
Queer Nazis burning books? Is that what I’m seeing? Is Examiner a queer website?
yes.
those are things that men in the field definitely need.
O’Reilly has been raising a lot of money for the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
I think you have hit on only part of the problem. My friends in EOD and MSOB units all seem to have varying degrees of PTSD. In addition, downtime is mostly spent sleeping and doing errands with limited reading time. Many start falling asleep when reading.
Stateside, most regain an interest in reading books.
