What a lame attempt to persuade GOP voters to Cain. I remember some pretty solid black conservatives and black Republicans who voted for Obama.

Armstrong Williams wont say if he did but he certainly gave reason to vote for Obama.

J.C. Watts waffled

Condoleeza Rice defended Obama during the election.

Colin Powell endorsed the SOB

It wouldn't even surprise me if Cain voted for him.

We are the party of principle, and whether Cain gets the nomination or not, we will always be demonized as racist because we expect everyone to pull their own weight.

Cain's pandering to inner city blacks in his Empowerment Zone's in which he said himself he favored specifically because blacks lived there and later in the same interview he liked the idea because they were predominately African American (but I think he prefers to be called black, he just calls other blacks African Americans I guess). He believes in social justice too. Government leveling the playing field by giving certain colors certain benefits.

The interview of Cain I am talking about was on OCT.14th on CNN.

Folks around here have short memories. Four years ago, Deroy Murdock was a hardcore Rudy Giuliani supporter. Murdock was trashed on this forum for his slobbering love affair with Rooty-Toot. How quickly some forget.

Ronald Reagan was a successful two-term Governor of California and a highly successful two-term President. Reagan had a record of achievement and accomplishment unmatched in recent times. Reagan was able to advance conservatism under extreme conditions and fight off the forces of the liberal establishment. We knew all about Reagan, the good, the bad and the ugly. Reagan was in the public spotlight for 45 years when he finally was elected President.

Herman Cain has some good conservative qualities. Problem is, we know nothing about how Cain would govern or legislate. Why? Cain has no record with which to judge him on. Period! All we have to go by is what Cain says he would do in his public statements. And the more statements Cain makes, the more scrutiny he will receive and the more questions people will have of him.

That's about as absurd as it gets.
