I remember reading somewhere that when a nation uses women in combat that nation won’t survive. But I think that Israel is an exception. I don’t think the US needs women in combat. But I guess if it’s available to us and we want to engage in it, it’s our choice.
I agree that Israel has no choice. But here in America we are privileged in that we have the ability to protect our women and children - they don’t need to be put in danger.
