Makes perfect sense to me. The “former” RAT, Rick Perry no doubt still has ties with the RAT party.

Why am I thinking “Mole”?

Nope, Rick has been a Republican for a long time. (I have been a Republican since I could vote (am 64), and am from the same county as Rick Perry. We grew up 14 miles apart.)

Forget your suggestion, will not hold water.

For some reason Perry reminds me of George Ryan the former gov. of Illinois.
