That's not what he said less than 90 days ago.

But just to be clear: if border security is accomplished, you can envision some sort of path to citizenship for people who are here illegally.
Rick Perry: Sure.

There is a very good reason why Perry is polling in single digits and still dropping.
wow. So his plan to control the border is to let them all in and then we won’t have to worry about borders any more?
Cut off the welfare benefits, free schools and make them pay back their ER visits. Then use e-verify to cut off the taking of US jobs.
That would do it.
In your zeal to paint your own biased picture of Governor Perry, you always skip this part, which Perry used the first time the reporter asked the question:
"We have a pathway to citizenship in this country today: its get in the line and do what it takes to get here legally. You cannot have a comprehensive discussion about immigration reform until you secure the border. Ive got a 1,200 mile border with Mexico and its not secure. We have American citizens being killed, we have drugs coming across, we have illegal immigrations and all types of other human trafficking going on. Our border is not secure because our federal government has been an abject failure at it. "
The question was the third time the reporter asked and it was "envision some sort of pathway . . . " not "envision a *new* pathway to citizenship . . ."
