It wasn’t a case of not wanting to be taped. The cop was doing what is required, moving people back to protect the crime scene. You can hear someone say “move him out of the scene.” But of course this is a chance for you to take the obligatory poke at the police.

If they were doing their job, they would have taped off the crime scene, first thing. There was no “crime scene” boundary. Barney Fife, thinking he was hot sh**, just wanted to play “big-shot cop”.
