What am I missing here? Exactly what is the intent of these protests, anyway?
I don’t get it. Seriously.
There was evidence early on that libertarians (in the Ron Paul school) and more middle of the road type people were participating. I saw interviews with them and signs they held. They weren’t all kooks from the beginning. Those people were focused on the bank bailouts and the fed (a la Ron Paul).
I think some of us could find common ground with people of that ilk even if we aren’t Ron Paul proponents.
But the kooks and leftists squelched that with all their demands for free stuff. That’s all that’s left.
Dopey people who are into peace and love. In other words, human shields.
